A two story residence in a prominent Medindie location has been enhanced transforming the existing external area into a more practical and appealing space. Our clients brief was to incorporate a new alfresco space, pool and landscaping.

In keeping with the existing homes proportions, the openable roof of the alfresco area cantilevers over the space grounded only by a large stone fireplace. Beside the fireplace is a formed concrete seat and custom outdoor kitchen incorporating warm timbers, concrete rendered benchtop and stone splashback.

A new infinity edge pool ties seamlessly into the alfresco area and has been positioned to complement existing established planting as well as new landscaping. The design includes an intimate sitting area bordered by a stone wall and made practical with a custom timber bench seat.
