Replacing the fibro shack that existed on the site, this engaging riverside home retains the modest proportions of its predecessor, facilitating a strong connection with the serene landscape it inhabits.

Without wishing to overpower the beauty of the surroundings, Outset Design implemented bespoke details, joinery design and finishes. All of which were carefully chosen to compliment the owner’s extensive collection of mid-century modern furniture.

Well considered window placements, superior insulation and variable sun shades ensure this build relies less on mechanical heating and cooling mechanisms and more on the sun.
